Fellowship trained, in July of 2013 she became one of the first Urogynecologists in the country to be Board Certified in the subspecialty of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
Under Dr. Molden’s leadership, the Center provides the most current, effective treatments for female pelvic conditions in a professional, caring and compassionate manner. We are devoted to evaluating and restoring health and quality of life in women suffering from symptoms associated with disorders of their pelvic structures and bladder, particularly those with pelvic organ prolapse including dropped bladder and urinary incontinence.
Loss of bladder control is a problem experienced by women of all ages, including 30% of women age 65 and older. Commonly, incontinence is related to more general pelvic structure support problems such as prolapse, with a lifetime risk of prolapse estimated at 11%. One in five women over the age of 60 undergoes surgery for prolapse.
