Female Pelvic Health Center

The Female Pelvic Health Center (FPHC) is dedicated to diagnosis and effective treatment of female pelvic conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary disorders. Our expertise is a subspecialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology known as Urogynecology – also known as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

We are devoted to evaluating and restoring health and quality of life in women suffering from symptoms associated with disorders of their pelvic structures and bladder, particularly those with prolapse and urinary incontinence.

Urinary incontinence, or loss of bladder control, is a problem experienced by women of all ages, and is seen in up to 30% of women age 65 and older. Commonly, incontinence is related to more general pelvic structure support problems such as prolapse, with a lifetime risk of prolapse estimated at 11%. 20% of women over the age of 60 undergo surgery for prolapse.

Under the direction of Stephanie Molden, M.D., the FPHC focuses on assuring the comfort and well-being of our patients, addressing with utmost sensitivity what may be embarrassing and upsetting symptoms for many women.

We provide the most current, effective treatments available for female pelvic conditions, and we do it in a professional, caring and attentive manner. There’s no reason for women to suffer from symptoms that keep them from living a full and active life. We’re here to help – let us help you.
